ROLLER COASTER MADNESS
Heart rate, brain waves, adrenaline, nothing can come close to the rush and thrill value of riding a modern day roller coaster. It is the closest thing to what a ride in a jet plane might be. The twists, dives, and all that screaming are one of the most exhilarating natural highs that you can experience.
Roller coasters are the king of amusement and theme parks. Some 328 million people visit these parks each year, way more than all professional sports combined with roller coasters being the top draw. This year stands to be one of the most exciting seasons in recent memory, with taller, faster, and more unique roller coasters available to the thrill seekers who live for this.
1. Kingda Ka at Six Flags in New Jersey is considered one of the worlds' tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world. It rockets from a dead stop to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds, then shoots to a 456 crest.
2. Sheikra at Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida plunges riders 200 vertical feet, twists them through an inverted loop, then drops them another 138 feet- into an underground tunnel, concluding with a shoot through a wall of water.
3. Hydra- the revenge at Dorney Park I Allenstown Pa. which is a roller coaster
that you dangle from through narrow canyons and zero-gravity corkscrews.
Roller coaster enthusiasts will fulfill their dreams this summer
